Dr. Jocelyn Yang was raised in Diamond Bar, California by her Taiwanese parents. Her passion for human communication and brain science led her complete a Cognitive Neuroscience undergraduate degree at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a double minor in biology and chemistry. She earned her audiology doctoral degree in the joint program with UCSD and San Diego State University.

Dr. Yang has many years of private practice experience. She specializes in geriatrics, pediatrics, hearing aids, and cochlear implants—all with an emphasis on counseling and quality care. She prides herself as a provider in dedicating her full energy and attention to her patients. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin (Chinese), creates a LGBTQIA+ friendly space, and welcomes everyone from all backgrounds.

She has been a San Diegan for over a decade, and lives happily with her wife, Alexis, and her two guinea pigs—Gizmo and Gadget. Her family enjoys hiking, camping, and attending concerts and festivals.
