Who We Are

We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At Professional Hearing Associates Inc, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our staff combines years of expertise in hearing healthcare, and is well-trained on a variety of services ranging from evaluations to treatment.

We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Our Providers

Heather Marie Cones, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Cones is passionate about her job and feels blessed to have chosen a career that allows her to make a positive impact in others’ lives. She firmly believes that the proper approach to improving hearing and fitting hearing aids is by following a model of hearing healthcare, offering a comprehensive package also including aural rehabilitation, scientific verification measure, and consistent follow-up.

David Michael Illich, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Illich is the sole provider of Audiology and Hearing Services for three of the areas hospitals and most of the area’s private physician clinics. He currently is the Chief of Audiology for Palomar Health and Pomerado Hospital and a contractual provider for Tri-City Hospital.

Amy Marin, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Marin is passionate about utilizing technology in combination with aural rehabilitation to help patients communicate more effectively and enjoy life to the fullest. She considers herself very lucky to have found a career that combines her passion for helping others and her love of technology.

Katherine Alsbury, Au.D

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Alsbury has been providing hearing healthcare to southern California in private practice and ENT settings since 2017. She grew up in El Paso, Texas and earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Doctor of Audiology from Arizona State University.

Jocelyn Yang, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Jocelyn Yang was raised in Diamond Bar, California by her Taiwanese parents. She has always had a passion for human communication and brain science. She completed her undergraduate studies in cognitive neuroscience at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with minors in biology and chemistry. She then completed her audiology doctoral program in the joint program between UCSD and San Diego State University.
