Mallory Sheehan
Doctoral Resident
Meet Mallory Sheehan
Mallory is a 4th-year resident of Audiology currently attending the joint doctoral program of audiology at the University of California San Diego and San Diego State University. Originally from Upstate New York, Mallory moved to California to earn her undergraduate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and two minors in Education and Special Education from San Francisco State University. She found her passion for helping others hear while volunteering to provide hearing healthcare services to underserved communities in the Bay Area.
Since moving to San Diego, Mallory has been involved in several volunteer organizations providing hearing healthcare to communities in need. She believes these experiences help to shape the empathy, counseling, and quality care she provides to her patients. She loves to stay up-to-date with the latest hearing research to implement that into her clinical practice. She currently lives in La Jolla and in her free time enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and trying out new restaurants in San Diego with her friends.
